Rodney Dykes leads the team of investigators. Former Managing Director of RDHS Limited housing consultancy, Rodney has conducted statutory inquiries for the then Housing Corporation, and Assembly Government for Wales.

Recent assignments have included leading on Employment Tribunal issues and an investigation into a governance dispute in a housing association. Rodney Chairs the Complaints Panel at Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Trust where he is a non-executive director.

Ralph Edwards - Head of Human Resources Services (Schools) at Medway Council. The service was rated as one of the highest performing advice and consultancy services to schools in the country by OFSTED inspectors. The number of clients who buy the service continues to grow through ‘word of mouth’.

Ralph has extensive experience in undertaking disciplinary/grievance investigations and also deals with cases of harassment and child protection. The field of education (particularly schools) is especially complex in terms of staffing rules and regulations.

Ralph is also seasoned in operating in various sectors of a local authority and recently undertook an investigation which was praised at Employment Tribunal as being thorough and impartial.

Sally Hunter is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. A housing sector specialist, she has worked ‘on both sides of the fence’ as an external provider of audit and risk management services whilst at Beever and Struthers Chartered Accountants, and as Head of Business Assurance Services at Aspire Housing. During this period she has led several internal investigations and contributed to the development of internal audit both within the housing sector and more widely; having previously occupied the role of Chair of the Housing Association Internal Audit Forum and through the delivery of presentations and publication of articles.

Karen Munro has worked as an independent consultant since 1986. She has undertaken work for a number of clients, including PCTs, the NHS, local authorities, and GPs. She has worked as an NHS Dietitian; Director of Health Promotion for Ealing Health Authority; whilst contracted to the Health Education Council as Primary Care Consultant she implemented a national scheme of residential team building workshops for Primary Health Care Teams; and she secured a contract as Organisation Development Consultant for Ealing Health Authority.

Karen has undertaken various team building workshops; mediation; managerial skills training; production of learning/training packages; executive coaching for senior managers of PCTs and provider services directorates together with shaping and facilitating a range of Nurse Forums and monthly one day Practice Managers Forums funded by PCTs. Karen has a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics , a Post Graduate Diploma Health Education and an MA in Management Learning.

Julian Welham is a former senior officer of the Housing Corporation, the public sector body which, until its functions were divided between two newly-created bodies (the Tenant Services Authority and the Homes and Communities Agency) in late 2008, was responsible for the funding and regulation of the social housing sector. Whilst serving as the Head of Supervision at the Corporation, Julian was responsible for both commissioning, and overseeing the conduct of, statutory Inquiries into the affairs of charitable, non-charitable and co-operative landlords. In this role, he worked closely, and for protracted periods, with officers from the Metropolitan Police Company Fraud Squad and the West Midlands Police Fraud Squad, as well as with senior barristers and solicitors.

Later, in his capacity as Complaints Officer, Julian carried out many, often highly sensitive, investigations on behalf of the Chief Executive of the Housing Corporation.

Julian served as a member of the working party set up by the then Minister of Defence, Lord Annan, to identify housing options for Service personnel. He has served as a statutorily-appointed Board Member for a variety of social landlords and has given evidence as an expert witness in the High Court.

Julian became a Director of Bee Investigates Limited in January 2010.
